I've been watching several videos on the origins of different Christian denominations lately. One thing that stands out for every one of them: they see the left hand side of the comic as what is happening in the Bible. Or, in other words: Yeshua/Jesus came and brought a new religion: Christianity. The ways taught in most of the Bible are no more.
What I find sad about it is when you look into why the different denominations broke off from each other, they are all over different interpretations of what a Christian life should look like. Why is this? Because unlike in the OT, we never have a list of "here is what to do, here is what not to do" in the NT. The closest thing, and what most people will point to is either the greatest commandments or those given in Acts 15. Both of these instances, though, point to commands in the Law.
If we would all go back to what the Bible says on how we are supposed to live, how YHWH pointed out someone who follows Him shall live, we might not have all these different denominations we do today.
If you haven't read it before, go and read Psalm 119 and Ecclesiastes 12:13.
13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. - Romans 2:13 ESV
So Paul is either double-minded or he isn't saying what you think he is there. If we see what James says on the subject, we can see we should be doing the Law.
14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good[b] is that? 17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! 20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. 24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead. - James 2:14-26 ESV
In Acts, Paul AFTER visiting the church in Galatia:
2 But when Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews made a united attack on Paul and brought him before the tribunal, 13 saying, “This man is persuading people to worship God contrary to the law.” - Acts 18:12-13 ESV
17 When we had come to Jerusalem, the brothers received us gladly. 18 On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present. 19 After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. 20 And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law, 21 and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or walk according to our customs. 22 What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come. 23 Do therefore what we tell you. We have four men who are under a vow; 24 take these men and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses, so that they may shave their heads. Thus all will know that there is nothing in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself also live in observance of the law. 25 But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. [ALL commands from the Law]” - Acts 21:17-25
It was NOT that the Galatians were being deceived into following the Law of Moses, but the traditions of the Jews, that is also called law, and today is referred to as the Oral Law.

As you brought up the guardian verse (or tutor in some translations), here is a video that covers this verse in great detail.
So, those at Mt. Sinai were told of the death, burial and resurrection?
16 For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? 19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.
4 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. 2 For good news [the Gospel] came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened. - Hebrews 3:16-4:2 ESV
And Jesus was preaching His death, burial, and resurrection to everyone, yet no one knew or understood it was going to happen?
43 but he said to them, “I must preach the good news [the Gospel] of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.” 44 And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea. - Luke 4:43-44 ESV
31 And taking the twelve, he said to them, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. 32 For he will be delivered over to the Gentiles and will be mocked and shamefully treated and spit upon. 33 And after flogging him, they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise.” 34 But they understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what was said. - Luke 18:31-34 ESV
15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” - Mark 1:15 ESV
23 And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people. - Matthew 4:23 ESV
35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. - Matthew 9:35 ESV
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. -- Matthew 24:14 ESV
This doesn't answer my questions. He states the Gospel is pretty much the same as you did. Pretty much the same as I believed for almost 30 years, but the Bible says that Gospel was known by those at Mt. Sinai, that Jesus taught it, and the disciples didn't know He was going to die and resurrect. (see references above)
As for his statements about Paul and what he is teaching in Galatians 3, it seems he hasn't read the passages in Acts I point out above where the Pharisees were accusing Paul of the exact same thing and the Jerusalem council said Paul wasn't teaching that.
I would recommend this dissertation done at Liberty University. He goes into the implications of saying Paul was teaching against the Law of Moses.

For clarification of anyone coming to this comic afterward, the person I was having a conversation with deleted their comments. The last comment they had was to a YT video of John MacArthur titled "The Big Picture of Salvation" in which he conflates salvation with sanctification in trying to paint a picture that the Law of Moses is for salvation, which the Bible never teaches.
So Paul is either double-minded or he isn't saying what you think he is there. If we see what James says on the subject, we can see we should be doing the Law.
